Notepad

The Notepad keeps your field notes in the app: scouted places, settings that worked, framing ideas, gear to bring. Open it from the toolbar of the main menu.

Writing a note

Each note has a title and a content. Type them, then tap Save. If you leave the screen without saving, the app asks for confirmation so you don’t lose your changes.

Finding your notes

The list of saved notes opens from the Notepad screen. Tap a note to open it again and edit it.

• Swipe left to delete the note; Undo brings it back while the message is shown.
• Swipe right to share the note (message, email, another app).

Export and import

• Export saves all the notes to a JSON file, wherever you choose: as a backup or to move them to another phone.
• Import reads such a file and adds its notes to the ones already there, without deleting them.

Remember to export your notes from time to time: they are stored in the app and are lost if you uninstall it.
